Best Engagement Session Locations in Orlando, FL

"Where should we get our engagement photos taken in Orlando?" is one of the most common questions I see from couples. It's one of the things I love most about being a wedding photographer in Orlando. I always inform my clients that a place that's important to them or has a connection is best for their engagement session locations. A couple of ideas that I throw around with couples are where they had their first date. Another idea would be where they met for the first time. Being in Orlando, I photograph a fair amount of couples who aren't from the area. This list is a perfect way to get more familiar and find a spot you love!

One of my top recommendations. The light shines in ever so gorgeously here and this is perfect for either the Disney fan or not... there are tons of areas that do not even resemble a Disney resort. It has the perfect charm of a New Orleans backdrop without having to travel to Louisiana! There are gorgeous fountains as well as trees and florals that stun.

This urban park is like a nature preserve right in the middle of downtown Orlando. It has tons of cool bridges, a tunnel and lush landscapes with tons of greenery and rocks. The historic 1920s Washington Street bridge is also a staple. It definitely has a bit of a jungle oasis vibe and it’s also dog friendly!

Arguably the most popular/photographed Disney World Resort. It is truly and simply stunning. Classic and timeless. What more can I say? These pictures speak for themselves.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! A lot of my engaged couples see the pictures from Bok Tower Gardens and the tall Bok Tower and are instantly inspired. There's plenty of hidden spots around the property that are full of opportunities to have candid moments captured. Keep in mind, it is outside of the general Orlando area and requires a $17 entrance fee.

I am just obsessed with the walls of ivy at this gorgeous and quiet spot. It makes for the most gorgeous crisp backdrop for engagement photos in Orlando. It’s a great option in Winter Park. Lovely steps, florals and shop surround.

Can you tell I'm a Disney fan? The resorts are just so darn photographable... it hurts! These two resorts are within the Boardwalk area behind the World Showcase entrance to EPCOT. Gorgeous spots all around, tons of variety. Garden and gazebo, white sand, and pier + lighthouse all in one!
